Salar de Uyuni – Through My Lens

Howdy all, another photographic post for you this Wednesday. Today I return to Bolivia and the amazing Salar de Uyuni and surrounds where I did a three-day tour last November. From salt flats, to salty trains, to flamingos and more, it’s one of the world’s most amazing destinations without a single doubt! Enjoy!

Packing the Land Cruiser in Uyuni Town.
Hitting the road… or the salt flats!
Most tours start with a stop at this amazing ‘Train Graveyard’

Trick photography is something many visitors do when on the salt flats.

Hot springs.
Sulphur lake – smelly and popular with the flamingos.
You’ll even find geysers in the area!

Thanks for stopping by – May the Journey Never End!

  1. Hot springs and flamingoes! Count me in!!! And I was waiting for at least one of those “perspective-based” photos to turn up… and sure enough, you didn’t disappoint!!

Love that last sign, too :p

  2. Looks like there’s a lot of activities to do there! Totally love the trick photos especially and I didn’t think there would be a hot spring nearby! Is that the only one available for a dip? šŸ™‚
