I meet up with the indefatigable Ivan Nevill and we head to the Melbourne General Cemetery to give it a little bit of an exploration. We check out the graves of some former Australian Prime Ministers and chat a bit about them. We also see the monument to explorers Burke and Wills, the Holocaust memorial, the grave of Peter Lalor, the grave of Walter Lindrum and ask 'What is a memorial to Elvis doing at Melbourne Cemetery?' As a follow up to last Sunday's guest post - What is Makkah Really Like? Makkah or Mecca is a destination that a lot of people will probably never experience, and certainly not as part of a pilgrimage, so I thought it would be a great idea today to share with you some of Tim's videos about just that!
As Kazakhstan has been a place I've been writing about of late, I thought I would share my old video I shot in 2011 (and edited a couple of years later) in this curious destination.
