Solo in Kampala – Inside Idi Amin’s Bunker, Palaces and MORE

Hey all! Hope today finds you well! Another vlog for you today, from Uganda in Africa as I continue my vlog focus on this part of the world for a bit!

Today well, I am heading into Uganda’s capital, the busy and bustling Kampala! A city with crazy traffic, palaces for kings, a dark history and so much more!

The darkest thing I see is the bunker used by Idi Amin in the 1970s to house, torture and murder prisoners, sitting in the grounds of the Kabaka’s Palace. Here I also learned that there is a King in Uganda (he is actually the King of a part of Uganda called Buganda) and a little of the country’s more recent history. Kampala is crazy busy, vibrant and at times confronting. One thing it isn’t – dull!

Thanks for popping by! Take care wherever you are in the world right now and… May the Journey Never End!
