Today I team up with Tim Blight of Urban Duniya and we take a look at the Queen Victoria Market. The biggest and best known of all of Melbourne's markets, it sells a combination of fresh produce (primarily) and other goods as well.
Today's video is the first half of my trip in 2011 to Cameroon, and sees me visit Douala, where the main airport is and the biggest city in Cameroon, and Kribi, in the south not too far from the border with Gabon.
Mongolia is a destination many imagine but few actually visit. Today let me show you a little of what it's like via the power of the moving image!
As a follow up to last Sunday's guest post - What is Makkah Really Like? Makkah or Mecca is a destination that a lot of people will probably never experience, and certainly not as part of a pilgrimage, so I thought it would be a great idea today to share with you some of Tim's videos about just that!
As Kazakhstan has been a place I've been writing about of late, I thought I would share my old video I shot in 2011 (and edited a couple of years later) in this curious destination.
Today I'm taking you to destination BEIJING. And back in time three and a half years to when I was there last. My first time as an adult in the Chinese capital, and I had to return to two places I had been many years before in 1986 - the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. And that's today's video for you, a short but sweet one! Enjoy!
Hi all. Today I wanted to feature this amazing travel vlogger from Iraq. When one is on the tourist trail, when one can be I guess, you generally don't meet a lot of travellers from Iraq, but Baderkhan Amer Badran is travelling the world and making a name for himself whilst he does it.
Many years ago now, Saddam Hussein was still in power in Iraq, and in the north of the country, in Kurdistan, he built himself a palace at the top of a mountain. These days, the few tourists that do dare to tip their toes in the destination that is Iraq often end up visiting this palace, now a shell of the building it once was.
Another video for you today, shot back in late October (the 31st actually) as I took my first tentative steps into Melbourne town after lockdown was first eased.
