This time I'm bringing you the Japanese town of Takayama, up in the hills in Honshu. Come and see through my somewhat grainy footage from 2011 what this place is like with its floats, retro museum and huge temple on the top of a hill to a new religion I know nothing about!
Come and check out my latest video which sees me take my first steps in Japan, reliving memories from 2011!
I meet up with the indefatigable Ivan Nevill and we head to the Melbourne General Cemetery to give it a little bit of an exploration. We check out the graves of some former Australian Prime Ministers and chat a bit about them. We also see the monument to explorers Burke and Wills, the Holocaust memorial, the grave of Peter Lalor, the grave of Walter Lindrum and ask 'What is a memorial to Elvis doing at Melbourne Cemetery?' So join us as we present Melbourne'General Cemetery, a place with its own sadness, but also a beauty too. And what will the earliest grave that we find be?
Howdy all! Today I wanted to share a piece from a travel vlogger I have just discovered. His channel is 'My 1000 miles'. It's run and presented by Kevin who lives in Bangkok, Thailand. I have been dreaming about travel as I always tend to do, and thinking about a possible return to West Africa …
Have a look at the latest episode of 'Melbourne Revealed' as I explore the Melbourne Museum!
Today I have a second video from Cameroon seeing me head north from Limbe and Douala to the Anglophone part of the country. I take in Limbe and its incredible primate-filled wildlife sanctuary, and also explore the Ring Road area based in Bamenda.
A day out in destination Melbourne is full of so many possibilities. Today Tim and I check out Melbourne's street art and try ice cream from a shop staffed only by robots!
Today I team up with Tim Blight of Urban Duniya and we take a look at the Queen Victoria Market. The biggest and best known of all of Melbourne's markets, it sells a combination of fresh produce (primarily) and other goods as well.
Today's video is the first half of my trip in 2011 to Cameroon, and sees me visit Douala, where the main airport is and the biggest city in Cameroon, and Kribi, in the south not too far from the border with Gabon.
