Yes folks, it’s Friday and I hope it finds you well. Today I’m taking you to destination BEIJING. And back in time three and a half years to when I was there last. My first time as an adult in the Chinese capital, and I had to return to two places I had been many years before in 1986 – the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. And that’s today’s video for you, a short but sweet one! Enjoy!
Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
Hopefully I’ll get there one day. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for commenting!
I enjoyed your video. Your experience in summer looks like a lot more fun than when I’ve been there in winter!
Thanks for watching. It was actually April but it was warming up!
I would also like to revisit the Forbidden City and the Great Wall one day. Can we not see the wall not as a wall against the enemies, but as a fortified path through the landscape.
thanks! Yes these are the MUST sees!
Your photos from 1986 look wonderfully clear! I went to Beijing/The Great Wall 11 years ago, and my photos of them are not nearly as crisp as yours. Keep on sharing the adventure!
thanks. they were scanned in by my Dad with a professional rig he hired from the negative which is why I’d say.
great video!
Thanks Tanya! 🙂
Awesome. Is this one a WP video? I couldn’t get it to open on Youtube – wanted to give it a thumbs up!!
actually nevermind – figured it out XD
lol ok!
