Bouncing Into Bolivia – Lake Titicaca, Potosi and Salar de Uyuni
Bolivia is one of the world's secret destinations, I would say. When people think of heading to South America, they don't necessarily think to head to Bolivia, preferring Brazil or Peru perhaps, or even Argentina. But I would have to say as a place to travel, Bolivia is the most interesting South American country I have been too. Check out the video I've put together of this incredible destination!
Epic Journeys – Uyuni (Bolivia) to La Quiaca (Argentina)
Today the story of my epic journey from the town of Uyuni in Bolivia, the gateway to Salar de Uyuni, to the border town of La Quiaca, in Argentina, passing through such not-particularly-known towns as Atocha, Tupiza and Villazon (the border town on the Bolivian side). Crazy drivers and roads that appeared to be rivers made this quite the adventure!

Time to turn your tastebuds Central Asia way again, this time taking them to the sandy country of Uzbekistan. I spent three says in sunny Uzbekistan last year only, it was a quick zip through the country from Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, but I did eat out a couple of times so hopefully I can give you a bit of a recommendation as to the places I visited – Samarkand and Khiva.

This week I've interviewed a brilliant travel blogger from Nigeria, Amarachi, who runs the blog 'Travel With a Pen'. Her blog is vibrant and exciting, and has a mix of local (Nigerian) travel options as well as international travel as well. Right now Amarachi has JUST moved to Nairobi, where she was able to answer my questions.
Drew Binsky – One of the World’s Most Successful Travel Vloggers
Drew is a 29 year old American travel blogger, who set off a few years back now with his goal to visit every country in the world. He announced earlier this year he was around five or six countries short of reaching his goal, they included Venezuela and Jamaica amongst a few others, and he was set to reach his goal this year. Then the pandemic struck and he has been sidelined for most of the year. Recently he headed to Mexico, where he'd already been, but he's yet to take to his final few countries.
What am I Going to do with these points?
Should I be saving points and still activity trying to gather them? How has the pandemic impacted frequent flyer programs and when will be able to start spending them on flights again? Should I just bite the bullet and spend my points on whatever product offers the airlines have for me?
A Tour of Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia – The Full Lowdown!
Destination Bolivia is full of interesting landscapes, colour, mountains, winding roads and more. One of the most popular places to visit, usually on a tour from the town of Uyuni, are the incredible Salt Plains – Salar de Uyuni. I’ve been to plenty of different places in my life, from the fire pit that is the Darvaza Crater in Turkmenistan, to the Sahara Desert in the middle of Niger, but I don’t think I’ve been to a place that gave you the feeling you were on another planet quite like the Salar de Uyuni.
