Howdy all! Second last vlog for the year for you today. Brunswick is an eclectic, exiting and vibrant suburb in Melbourne’s north reached easily by tram or train. From working class roots and built on immigration from southern Europe in the 50s and 60s, to today where it’s become trendy and strangely full of bridal boutiques, Brunswick is a great place to explore.
And I was lucky enough to explore it with some old friends – Ivan, Jock and Kate. This one is divided into two parts as I had shot so much footage and I don’t like to present videos that are two long. I actually chat to someone working in a bridal boutique, check out the historic Brickworks and meet the unofficial ‘Mayor’ of Brunswick! Enjoy!
Thanks for watching and popping by! May the Journey Never End!
It’s strange how popular factory chimneys become as soon as the factory stops working.
yes thats very very true!
Nice incursion in Brunswick!
cheers!
