Through the Mist, On the Edge of Zhangjiajie – Tianmen Mountain!

Howdy all! Well, my last proper vlog from Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China is here! After spending two days visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crossing the glass bridge at the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, and of course delving into the Yellow Dragon Cave, I still had another day with which to explore the area, and the last thing on my list was a visit up Tianmen Mountain.

Tianmen Mountain is actually right alongside the city of Zhangjiajie, making far closer than any of the places I’ve just mentioned, and in fact is connected to the city by cable car. Or bus, depending on which direction you choose to do the circuit, and I elected in my wisdom to go up by bus to a different cable car and then to the top. Returning to the city via the original cable car.

But the day was … a little wet and the clouds were low, meaning I soon found myself in a mysterious… mist! How would it effect the day? Would the glass ledge be open and if so, what will it be like? The answers to these and more questions in today’s exciting VLOG!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
