oday folks, it’s another episode of ‘Andy’s Food Bites’ as I hunt out a bowl of duck and soba noodles at an eatery near the famous ‘Golden Temple’ – Kinkaku-ji. ‘Hanamakiya’ is a stone’s thrown from the temple’s entrance and is where I headed to get my ‘soba fix’.

Hanamakiya not only serves soba, but they make their own soba noodles in store, and when I arrived I had to put my name on a list to wait to get a table. So I knew I was in for a decent meal… watch on to see how it went!
