Glorious Gardens, Cable Cars and Model Trains – Exploring Yokohama

Hey folks! Time for another vlog from Japan! Today’s vlog is here, and I’m heading into Yokohama to see what I can show you of this port city only around 30 minutes by subway from Tokyo.

Yokohama is a place we all know the name of, but rarely features in travellers itineraries when having a Japan holiday, so let’s take this chance to see what this city offers.

I start off in the breathtaking Sankeien Gardens, a huge park full of hills, bridges, pagodas and views. It’s a really stunning location centred around a lake and was a surprising highlight for me.

Take a look with me at Chinatown, full of colour and life, and then we mosey on down to the port area. Walking along the water we get to Minato Mirai, shops, views, an amusement park and cable car.

Finally, one of the best model train exhibitions I have ever see delighted me, and hopefully you too in the Hara Model Railway Museum! Enjoy!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
