The absolute highlight of my year I present to you in this vlog. I’ve dreamed of seeing the mountain gorillas for year, so join me as I live out a dream, a bucket list item if you like, in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda.
I’m picked up at 5am from my accommodation at the Bunyonyi Lake and head to Bwindi. A musical performance greets me and the other trekkers and then a briefing in what we can expect on our trek, and then in groups of around 7 – 8 trekkers we head out. We are looking for the Mishaya Family of Gorillas, and we hike for around 3 hours before we find them. And once there…. it’s a truly magical experience! Enjoy!
