Come with me on this little (well, 17 minutes) video of my time in Kazakhstan, entitled ‘Curious Kazakhstan’. It’s been a while since I posted on Central Asia, but I still look at it very fondly. It’s one of the most rewarding places a solo backpacker can head in my opinion.

In this city you’ll see Almaty, a city of culture and history, full of beautiful parks and churches. And you’ll see a performance of traditional Kazakh instruments in there somewhere too! You’ll see Semey, with old Lenin statues in a park and the house where Dostoyevsky once stayed. And Astana, the capital, a place which somewhat beggars belief. It’s full of some of the most incredible buildings in the world including a glass replica of the pyramids and two giant gold samovars.
In short, Kazakhstan is full of things to see, and this video shows you just a few! May the Journey Never End!

Awesome one! You should do more often in publishing a video 🙂
actually I have a lot of them up on youtube. I’ll be presenting one every Monday. thanks!
