Sunday means 'interview' here on Andy's World Journeys and this time I'm 'chatting' with friend and fellow blogger, Lynda Hogan. Lynda hails from Ireland but lives in Saitama, Japan hence my incredibly corny title for the this post (sorry Lynda!). Lynda's blog details all the things there are to do in Saitama, and as such is a great source of knowledge for anyone who's planning a trip to Japan. She's also a mum, and has that in mind in many instances when she blogs.
There are many interesting places in the world to live. But what if you had your house and farm smack bang in the middle of Japan's busiest airport?
I've a brand new video for you today, and this time it's from Sri Lanka. Please take a look as I take you from the Hill Country where it's mountainous and green and you get around on the toy train, through Colombo to the south - Galle and Mirissa and out into the ocean to catch a glimpse of the whales!
Sintra is less than 35km from Lisbon and the perfect day trip. Here's how we found it when we went last year! So many castles, palaces and mountains it's truly a beautiful part of Western Europe!
Whilst I didn't eat out a lot in Lisbon, I did try a few places and discovered the world's best custard tart. I also had a go at self-catering, which is always an experience and a great way to keep costs down!
Just 9 kilometres from Jodhpur, Madore is home to these amazing, beautiful green gardens with temples dotted all around them. Not many visit, I was the foreigner there at the time, but it was well worth it!
The challenge - you have 48 hours and $200 and you have to experience as much of Paris as you can in that time with that money! What would YOU do?
Katie of 'The Frugal Foodies', along with partner Jeremy run this amazing blog, so I asked her to do an interview with me to find out how she and Jeremy combine a passion for food and a passion for travel into their amazing blog!
Eva Zu Beck takes an amazing journey to Aleppo, Syria, where the remnants of war are all around, and discovering something quite inspiring.
