Howdy all! Today it’s another photographic post from Central America, my first stop in Nicaragua, the revolutionary and colourful city of Leon. From the Revolution Museum to the market, the restaurants, the Avenue of Heroes and the churches, this town was the perfect colourful introduction to Nicaragua. A written post on Leon will follow later this week! Enjoy!

Other pics from around Leon

Finally we stopped at the Catedral de Leon. Probably the most popular thing to do in Leon is to go on its rooftop and admire the view, and sunset was the perfect time!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
I don’t think I have enough vacation leaves and budget to reach Nicaragua, so I enjoyed seeing Leon through your photos, Andy.
Great photos
Another place I have never really seen anything about, so this was interesting to look through – great photos!
A place I’ve never seen photos of before. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve had the opportunity to climb onto the roofs of several churches in Latin America, which are great places to get a new perspective on the city. I’m surprised there aren’t more people in the streets; it seems very quiet.
