Giraffes, Steam Trains and Market Hustles – Nairobi City Tour, Kenya

Today’s vlog sees me out and about in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital with a bit of a bad reputation – how would I find walking the streets with camera in hand?

My first stop is on the outskirts of the city, at the Giraffe Centre. A place people come and for a nominal fee can feed giraffes pellets from raised platform. It’s a brilliant and high recommended place to visit!

After failing to gain entrance to an elephant orphanage, I head back into Nairobi to check out the Kenyan Railway Museum with a number of steam engines on display. A walk through the city to see the Basilica of the Holy Family, then to the National Gallery.

Heading back to my hotel just off Moi Avenue I check out the mosque and City Market, before ending up in a souvenir shop because I felt sorry for a guy who was desperate to get me there. This folks, is Nairobi!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
