Howdy all on this fine Sunday! I hope you’re well wherever you may be. Today’s ‘Sunday Spotlight’ is more of a photo journey because there isn’t that much to say about this pretty little French village that isn’t better expressed in photos.

I visited Lac Leman, in Savoie on the French and Swiss borders in 2011. I stayed with a great friend of mine, Fabrice, and had a wonderful few relaxing days with great weather in a beautiful location. I was taken to this little town on Lac Leman one afternoon.

We walked through the town gate, and strolled the streets. There were many shops with things to buy from sweets to souvenirs. There was ice cream, yes there was ice cream. And then we chilled on the grass, we watched the boats on the lake and we did very little else. And that’s how it should be!

It’s the perfect medieval village to spend such a day in. It is pretty small, with a population of 810 people, and dates back to the 14th century. And this little fishing village is very popular for visitors. What else do you need know? May the Journey Never End!

Hey 🙂
I really enjoy reading your blog. And I have got a question and I hope it is not to personal. 😉 How do you have so much time to explore the world?
time? It’s all relative! I dont have as much as I used to. I used to save save save for a year and then travel, and then repeat.
Believe me or not, but I’ve never heard of this place before. How come? Don’t know, but these boats on the stunning Lac Leman look so romatic!! 🙂
its small thats probably why. I hadnt heard about it but my friends took me there. In fact going to Publier and Lac Leman I really didnt know exactly where i was. it was an unplanned stop. but a great one.
Now..your post makes me wonder where Lac Leman is..beautiful images!!
