  3. A lovely selection of photos showing the diversity of Amsterdam’s urban landscape. The canals give it a whole new dimension. Thanks to the direct train from Paris, I’ve been there several times in recent years, but there are still some places I’d like to visit, such as the Anne Frank House, which requires advance booking.
