Harare Explored – Zimbabwe’s Capital’s Monuments, Art, Gardens and Animals!

Hi all! For those new here, I’m Andy, a travel vlogger and blogger from Australia who has undergone a round the world trip in 2025 taking in 21 different countries and six continents. And for this vlog, well, it’s time for my first impressions of the African nation of Zimbabwe.

And what better place to start than the capital of Harare? Come with me as I start exploring within a couple of hours from setting foot on Zimbabwean soil for the first time, checking out the National Gallery and the Harare Gardens.

The next morning arrives and I travel out to the Mukuvisi Wetlands for a little walking and a peak at some animals including crocodiles and giraffes. National Heroes’ Acre houses the country’s most impressive monument to those who fought for Zimbabwe to become a nation, and I finish up with a somewhat on edge walk through downtown Harare. Enjoy!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
