African Odyssey From Mombasa to Harare via Malawi – Train, Boeing, Turboprop Heaven!

Folks! I’m Andy and in 2025 I have been travelling Round the World – the Wrong Way! Today’s vlog sees me start off in Mombasa/Nyali and over two days make my way from the east coast of Kenya all the way down to Harare, capital of Zimbabwe.

Firstly it’s high-speed rail African style from Mombasa back to the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. One night and an extremely early morning later I find myself flying to Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi on Malawi Airlines. The flight is spectacular with mountain top views over Tanzania.

A few hours in a small airport and I am on a Q400 DE Havilland Dash 8 Turboprop plane flying over Malawi and Northern Mozambique to touch down at Robert Gabriel Mugabe Airport in Harare, the Zimbabwean capital where adventures await, in the next vlog. But for now, enjoy this breathtaking adventure with me!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
