Howdy all – My name is Andy, and in 2025 I have been travelling around the world – the wrong way! Today’s vlog sees me heading from Nairobi to Mombasa (both in Kenya) by the high speed rail SGR. And from there, well, it’s time to explore this city on the coast.

Mombasa has a history tied with Oman and then the British, and Fort Jesus is therefore the perfect place to start. The Old Town is great to walk around and explore the Arabic history of Mombasa.

But there are many beliefs alive in Mombasa, and I get to check out a church and a Hindu temple as well, grab a hair cut and then finally, discover the colours and life of the Mombasa Spice Market! Enjoy!
