After the LONG bus ride from Kabale to Uganda’s capital, and taking a quick day to recharge the ol’ batteries, I knew it was time to see what Kampala had to offer the visitor. What followed was a chance to learn about the country I was in – about the royalty, the Kabaka at the Kabaka’s Palace and also at the Kabusi Tombs, located at the former palace (pictured in the thumbnail).
I also check out a number of other locations on the back of a motorbike, aka ‘Boda Boda’ in Uganda, and then the next day it’s time for a day trip! Getting to Jinja on the local mini-buses isn’t too hard, but somehow the two-hour journey became four hours. Finally at Jinja, where Lake Victoria becomes the White Nile River, which the locals call the ‘Source of the Nile’. Come with me on a boat to this very point Enjoy!
Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
