Did you know you can spend a day in Manchester and see a load of stuff without spending a cent (bar food and drink). Starting with the free bus, the Castlefield Roman Ruins and the Castlefield Viaduct, Manchester has a great selection of free things to see and do.
After Castlefield, I checked out the Museum of Science and Industry, then the People’s History Museum, both interesting free places to check out. BUT the most brilliant place of day tour was without a doubt the John Rylands Library, one of the most breath taking epic libraries I have ever seen.
On top of this lot there was Manchester Cathedral, Church of St Anne, statues and squares and statue of Alan Turing. It made for a brilliant day in a brilliant city! Enjoy!
Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
Great that you got to visit Manchester! Did you also take the tram over to Media City?
