Come with me to Hungary! (that is supposed to rhyme by the way). When last I posted I was visiting the incredible capital of Austria, Vienna. Today we pick up from there as I take the Regiojet train across the Hungarian border to it’s impressive capital of Budapest. Stradling the Danube River with Buda on one side and Pest on the other, this city has so much to offer the visitor.
For example the famous Széchenyi Chain Bridge at 375 metres across the mighty Danube. We have Castle Hill and the castle and other treasures on top of it, and also the brilliant Parliament Building which I take a tour of. And much more. This brings back memories of our first trip to Europe where from Vienna we took the train to Budapest fo an overnight visit. Suffice to say we didnt cover as much as it was a whirlwind of a trip. Glad to have a more proper visit through your lens.
