Aqaba – Through My Lens

Folks, I hope you’ve enjoyed our Tuesdays through June, as I presented photos from my time in destination Jordan. It’s a brilliant and relatively easy place to travel, and I can’t recommend it enough as a somewhat gentle introduction to the Middle East which really packs a punch in terms of things to see and do. Roman ruins, ancient hidden cities, amazing deserts and today – the picturesque seaside town and port of Aqaba, situated unsurprisingly, in the gulf of Aqaba.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure whether I would include Aqaba in my photographic remembrance of Jordan, I didn’t have great memories of the town, didn’t remember it being interesting or inspiring in any way, but on reviewing the photos – and I’d take quite a few more than I thought I had taken – I was pleasantly surprised. Enjoy!

Thanks for popping by today – May the Journey Never End!
