Howdy all.
So I’m sitting back really tired here but forcing myself to write a blog post before getting some sleep. I will hit Central Asia tomorrow with a morning flight to Almaty, but right now I’m in the amazing Sama Sama International at KLIA. Possibly my favourite hotel ever!
Singapore was quick as expected, but I did get to the Gardens By the Bay which is what I really wanted to do. I couldn’t help but feel in Singapore they taking spending time on the smart phone to another level. Especially on the SMRT, the local metro where I think 85% of people spent their entire journey just looking at their phone, mainly watching videos. Actually, I’m pretty sure if I think about it it’s pretty much the same in Melbourne, however when I’m travelling I notice it much more.
Today’s flight was really rather bumpy. Thankfully it was only an hour’s flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. They called Business Class and parents with young children to board first, and literally everyone waiting got up and rushed to the entrance!
Anyways I have had a long hot bath and am ready to sleep. Stay tuned! Not sure how the net will be for me over the next few weeks but I will do my best!
May the Journey Never End!
Don’t get me started on phones Andy. A worldwide phenomenon, people can’t even walk down the street with their heads up anymore…
yes today in a mausoleum in Khiva everyone had their phones out… the world is doomed!
Gardens by the Bay is lovely! And yeah, I know what you mean about the smartphones – the world is indeed doomed
DOOMED! Thanks Tim
