Fancy a free trip to Antarctica on a cruise ship that lasts for thirty days and takes you from New Zealand to South America? I was approached by Matt from Oceanwide Expeditions to do a post about this amazing opportunity.
Let’s be clear about it, this is the sort of tour I would never be able to afford, so you can bet your bottom dollar I will be entering the competition. It is valued at over $25,000. And it looks amazing, definitely a once-in-a-lifetime deal. The trip is next year 15th Feb to
The boat starts in Bluff in the Southern New Zealand Isle, and you go south via Campbell Island via Scott Island to the least explored continent on Earth. I was in New Zealand late last year and saw a display in Auckland about Antarctic Expeditions. I was mesmerized. Of course, these were ones that went by land to the actual South Pole and there won’t be any of that.
On this cruise the ship follows the Antarctic Coast as you can see on the map, and ends in the world’s most southern city – Ushuaia, Argentina.
