One thing I remember strongly from my time in the amazing village of Jikanjuri in Georgia, 2011, was this power relay box where the entire village’s power came through. It, not surprisingly perhaps, would ‘blow’ regularly and the whole town would be without electricty. The worst example was in November 2011 when it was freezing, there was even snow, and it didn’t get fixed for three day! No electricity for over a weekend!
Situations, such as the one you describe, build character!
Hmmmm sounds a bit like load-shedding in the middle of the Pakistani summer. I can bear it, but I know a lot of people who can’t!!
