Tour of Kigali, Africa’s PRETTIEST Capital! – Remembering the Genocide, Art and SNAKES!

Come with me as I explore the city of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda in Eastern Africa. In 1994 a genocide took place in Rwanda which now is commemorated in Kigali in several places which I check out. I visit the Mille de Collines Hotel – made famous in the film ‘Hotel Rwanda’ as well as checking out a museum with a host of extremely dangerous snakes in a shed!

But there’s more to Kigali than just this recent history including it’s beautiful setting in amongst the hills. It truly is a very attractive capital city, with next to no rubbish on the side of the road or anywhere. I check out a busy market too as well as an arts centre run by a group of brothers and some wetlands on the outskirts of town. So come and see what I did in this surprising city!

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
