Great info for getting around on the Tokyo metro. I wish I had that app when I tried using the subway in the early 90s. Signs were not in English.

The metro network is very efficient in Tokyo with a large number of passengers, and part of the efficiency comes from the discipline to optimise movements, such as going up and down the stairs systematically on the left side.
