Hey all! Hope you are well. As the title says, Tirana is a very pleasant city. The Albanian Capital surprises with just how nice it is, despite a dark history retold through places such as Bunk Art (gallery/museum in underground bunkers built by the country’s dictator Enver Hoxha from 1944 – 1985) and the House of Leaves. So here’s a little of both sides for you. Enjoy!
Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!

It really is a mix of buildings isn’t it. The inside of the mosque looks really nice. Maggie
Cheers Maggie one of the trip’s highlights
Enjoyed your photos, Andy. An eclectic mix of city scenes and architectural styles.
Thanks I was quite taken with Tirana
I’m intrigued by both and looking forward to seeing more of Albania.
Unfortunately it really was just Tirana in one small day but hopefully can get back in a few years
