So do you call them a theater all the time or just for this type of old school “film theater” ? Just curious. My folks call this type and cinemas ‘the pictures’, me ‘the cinema’ but I do remember – fondly – this type of film theater in Dublin when I was small.
No we usually refer to then as cinemas here but this is the official name of an old cinema and I believe they did show more than films at one point thanks for popping by
