Hey all. So perhaps the strangest place I have ever visited in my life – in terms of the whole country – is the Central Asian Republic of Turkmenistan, presently shut off to the world due to Covid, whilst claiming to have no Covid in the country itself. So when I saw this video on YouTube I thought I would share it with you. It’s not so much of a travel video as I usually share but interesting and revealing of a country which is as hard as any right now to get into save perhaps North Korea.

I heard of this before, but I’m very skeptical that there truly isn’t any COVID in Turkmenistan. Given the country’s dictatorship, I wouldn’t be surprised if the government is censoring any information of potential COVID cases and whatnot. Regardless of the truth, Turkmenistan is a fascinating country that I just might consider visiting one day.
I’m sure there IS covid on Turkmenistan but you know these autocratic places are built on a river in Egypt! De nial!
