Yaounde – Through My Lens

Howdy all. Today I wanted to share my photos from the pretty capital of Cameroon, Yaounde. It’s a hilly place with a very pretty Open Air Museum – which I was not able to enter as it was closed the one day I had there. It was my last stop in Cameroon before flying out, so it was a bit rushed obviously, and although I don’t think it’s the most interesting city out there, it’s pleasant in it’s own way. I stayed in a hotel I don’t even know how I found out in the Yaounde suburbs, and it took a long time to get into the centre of town. I would like the chance to explore the city more fully one day. Although the photos in general are not my best, I do think they provide an interesting snapshot of the city. Enjoy!

Thanks for popping by today! Take care and as always – May the Journey Never End!

  1. The open air museum looks like a fascinating stop. I love those – they often tell stories about the history and lifestyles. Too bad you weren’t able to get in!
