Sorry to not ACTUALLY be ‘throwing back’ this week, but I thought I would share this video of the 41 participants of this year’s upcoming competition,
I watched it and I thought, honestly, that there’s not a lot that stands out. Which I think will give Australia’s Kate Mille-Heidke a chance of doing well, a good chance of a top ten finish I think, as her’s is quite distinctive. I think Russia would be a good bet, as the song is solid, featuring Sergey Lazarev, who came very close in 2016 and it’s fair to see either Dami Im or he should have won that year. And Russia always polls well. The United Kingdom also has a really powerful ballad this year, and hopefully can garner more votes than they have in the last 18 years. Also, I really liked Serbia’s entry.
