Iceland Through My Lens

Following on from yesterday’s post I am staying with Iceland this week. A land of harsh beauty, thermal springs, and when I was there in July 1999 amazing blue skies it’s very photogenic. I say that knowing I didn’t take that many shots when I was there, and of course it was all on film which was in a pretty average camera at the time. Nevertheless I think it presented me with my best photos from that particular trip! Enjoy!

This is about as dark as it gets with little to no cloud cover in summer. At about 11pm, Akureryi.

Thanks for joining me today. And I thought I’d add an Icelandic Eurovision classic for you all to enjoy, forget the dress the song by Yohanna is absolutely beautiful. May the Journey Never End!
