It is with great pleasure that I present this week’s podcast. It’s been slow to start but I feel this and next week’s episodes are the best so far. Today’s podcast features Kamillah Harris. I recorded it two weeks back on a beautiful sunny day in Yoyogi Park, Harajuku, Tokyo. Kamillah is from Jamaica and we chat about life in Japan and teaching in Japan, but we also talk a bit about Jamaica too, the beaches, the highlights of this wonderful island where Kamillah hails from.
This was probably the most fun I have had doing the podcast – Kamillah has a great sense of humour (and a great laugh), AND she is the first person to take up the ‘Capital City Challenge’. What’s that? Well, you’ll have to listen all the way to the end to find out. Please do take a listen to the podcast, and don’t forget that you can subscribe on Itunes here –

Tomorrow, the ‘Japanese Survival Guide’ continues as I talk about the Japanese language, give a couple of useful phrases and talk about the way it impacts on English teaching in Japan and why English can be so difficult for Japanese students.
