Howdy all! Time for a ‘Tuneful Tuesday’ as I call them. Today I thought I would share a couple of my favourite J-Pop songs with you. To be fair, I don’t know a LOT about J-Pop or know a lot of songs but I thought I would share a couple that I really like!

1. Koi Suru Fortune Cookie by AKB48

The original (ish) 48-member girl’s group AKB48 sang this one a long time ago. It was well known when I was living in Japan over 10 years ago, and it wasn’t a new song then. It’s super catchy and has the odd word of English thrown in for good measure, and the shoot for the video clip must have been quite a logistical exercise!

2. Bandage – Ayumu Izamu

This one is a total banger from 2024 I stumbled on earlier this year!
