Folks, Japan is full of some incredible wonders from the natural to the man made, with its eye on the future yet appreciating its past. Today, a short day trip from Fukuoka in Kyushu sees me visit a place called Nanzoin, home to an incredible 41-Metre Bronze Statue of a Reclining Buddha. Come with me and take a look at it and see how you get there, and whilst we’re at it – it’s time for my Japan Edition of the ‘Big Mac Challenge’!!! Enjoy!
Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
There often seems to be this mix of art, religion and business. I remember on my trip to Japan, I found this combination quite repetitive and soon found it hard to keep enjoying the places.
