Melbourne Revealed – State Library and Melbourne Central!

Hi all! And here we are with the NINETEENTH installment of ‘Melbourne Revealed’. Today I am joined by my friend Susy Carasas-Castillo as we head to the centre of Melbourne. The State Library is an amazing building, dating back to the 1850s, the oldest public library in all of Australia and I discovered researching afterwards that it’s the fourth busiest in the world! It has an amazing ‘dome’ and multiple rooms, as well as stained glass windows and a little art gallery! It’s got so much!

Also, across the road from the State Library is Melbourne Central, a shopping mall which is built around this historic shot tower they weren’t allowed to pull down before building. They have incorporated it into the structure and it is quite special and indeed unique, And today I check these two places out for you in ‘Melbourne Revealed!’

Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
