Howdy all! Following on from a couple of weeks ago when I brought you an old video I’d made on Ethiopia, here is the missing part of that trip, and that’s trekking in the Simien Mountains. Yes, I was much slimmer back then and much fitter too! This part of Ethiopia is simply INCREDIBLE! Some of the most stunning scenery you’ll find on this planet. Enjoy!

Wow, you are really brave Andy! It looks like an incredible hike and that scenery is something else. How many people participated in the hike and who were all the people that accompanied you? How did you book that hike? Sorry, lot’s of questions, but I am so curious.
i had two friends, a cook, a guide and a scout. there were also donkey handlers – along with the cook they went ahead to the camp sites. they took the roads and met us there

Ok we found a guide who organised everything via the hotel. All travellers coming to Debark are there to trek so u just ask reception to connect you to a gui
To a guide who will organise donkeys and a scout and handlers for donkeys. Then take u to shops to buy the food that will be cooked for the trek.
