Howdy all, and I hope today’s post finds you in good health. Today’s photographic exploration takes us back a couple of years to a short visit I paid to Surfer’s Paradise, the main city on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
It’s famous for great weather, great surf, great beaches, high-rise buildings, hotels, and being home to a few theme parks too. It makes me a bit jealous (of myself) to be frank having to go back through all these photos! Anyways, if you need a summer getaway, this might suffice if virtually is all you can manage right now!

The Q-Tower is the tallest building in Queensland and the provider of many a nice view!

Thanks for popping by – May the Journey Never End!
Super photos. I’m jealous, too.
Well don’t be they were taken two years ago!
It reminds me of Miami. Looks great though. I would love to be there right now and just relax in the sun. I am frankly fed up of rain!
Well u do live in the UK!
Yes, I know… 🙂
I drove through this area without really taking the time to be interested in it. The concrete aspect didn’t really appeal to me.
Yeah it is a bit of a concrete jungle. Still its a decent spot for a short getaway
Surfer’s Paradise looks to be somewhat of a misnomer, as the beach waves don’t appear that high for a surfer to surf…? Any case, I’m in awe at the high-rise buildings built along the coastline, and they’re definitely giving off Floridian and Cartagena, Colombian vibes!
There’s decent surfing nearby but not in the Bay obviously! Thanks for stopping by
