Howdy all. I love to be able to see how people lived in the past, and especially on film. Old footage is great, and YouTube in fact suggested this video to me featuring a collection of life filmed in many cities and places across the world in the 1890s. It’s pretty awesome, there’s even the Melbourne Cup 1896 in there along with footage from Paris, NYC and London to name a few. Interesting also to check out prominence of facial hair!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, I hope you enjoy. Not wild about the choice of music, but it’s a great video and one which has been colourised, with varying levels of success it must be said!
