From Around the Web – Postmodern Jukebox

Hi all! Hope you are safe and stocked up wherever you are as we brace for the full impact of the Corona-Virus. Here in Australia it is suitably surreal it’s fair to say with supermarkets suffering empty shelves and every day more restrictions coming into place. Here on the blog my views have certainly taken a hit, which was bound to happen and certainly is the least important impact of this pandemic.

So today something a little different. If you don’t know ‘Post-Modern Jukebox’ but this group takes modern pop songs (and others) and takes an ‘historical spin’ on them. Someone on my Facebook feed put Spicegirls’ ‘Wannabe’ done by them on my feed and then I checked out a few more as I thought it was brilliant. So we also have my favourite Queen song ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, and then this brilliant take on ‘Call Me Maybe’ which might just be better than the original. So enjoy – we have time to fill these days and this is a great way to do it. They have done an awful lot of tracks too if you want investigate further!

Thanks for dropping by – May the Journey Never End!
