just a brief post today, I am quite under the weather at the moment 😦 I wanted to share a link with you to another blog post from a blog called ‘My Wanderlist’ I recently discovered. Brad writes some great stuff, but this blog post of a couple of days ago was worrying. He talks about another blogger I’ve been following – Derek Freal. Last we heard he was in detention in Indonesia waiting to be deported to Singapore, but a few days later (he blogged on the 11th of June) and no-one has heard more from him. Sometimes we don’t realise how countries will react, and this apparently all came from a tweet he sent. I hope that very soon we discover Derek is fine and just couldn’t recharge his battery or something as someone suggested. I should be back tomorrow with service back to somewhat normal. If I hear anything else, I will blog about it.

Oh no! I didn’t realise this happened to Derek! He’s missing now too? Immigration can always be tricky…I usually try to keep to the rules because you never know what can happen..I’ll go check it out..looks like I’m way behind the story…thanks!

We’ve heard about this too! It’s a crazy situation but I think it will be a good story to tell when it’s all over. And it’s a good lesson for us all – we shouldn’t forget how powerful Twitter can be!
