Howdy all! Well, another vlog for you today, as I wind down the vlogs from my 2025 adventure. The last proper stop of the tour was Jakarta, and I shot a couple of vlogs whilst I was there, and this is the first of those vlogs –
Today’s episode of the round the world adventure sees me in Indonesia’s capital (for now at least) Jakarta. My first time in this massive city of 42 million (greater metro area) and so it was time to dive in and explore!
First stop was Jakarta Cathedral, next to Lanpangan Banteng Park which was full of people all abuzz from Indonesia’s 80th celebrations of independence. And then opposite was the highly impressive Istiqlal Mosque which I visited at prayer times as the beautiful singing rang out across town. From there to the National Monument, where I go underneath to access it and then check out the museum underneath before heading up to see some great views. Then I check out the Grand Indonesia Mall where everything sparkles!
Not done with Jakarta just then, I also head to the Old Town or Kota Tua, checking out old draw bridges and the incredible, historic Cafe Batavia. Enjoy!
Thanks for popping by! May the Journey Never End!
