Folks, set on acres upon acres of land, the Werribee Open Range Zoo is THE place in Victoria to African Safari animals in something like their natural habitat.

Great report on that special zoo. I guess maintenance must be expensive, hence the entrance fee. In Africa nature is free but the journey is a bit more complicated. As you say, it’s a great opportunity to see wild animals up close.
