Folks – Fukuoka is placed in Northern Kyushu perfectly for a number of day trips, and this is the first we took, to the region of Itoshima. We explore a number of places to visit in Itoshima in one day conquering public transport – including community buses.

So strap yourself in as I visit the Shiraito Waterfalls, the Raizansenyoggi Temple, Keya No Ohto and the Sakurai Futamigaura Couple’s Stone. It’s an absolutely gorgeous part of Japan, so let’s explore Itoshima!
