Well folks travel in Pakistan is never short on adventure, and today I am taking you with me into the Cholistan desert on a day trip from Bahawalpur in Southern Pakistani Punjab.
I check out the Cholistan Jeep Rally which is on at the time with all its vehicles – jeeps, dirt bikes, gliders and more! Then onto the town of Derawar where there sits one of the more magnificent forts I have ever seen and a lovely mosque as well. Cap the journey off with a tour of the Nawab Family Graveyard. Well, graveyard is a bit modest – it’s full of amazing tombs! A great day’s adventure, hope you enjoy the video!
