Howdy all! The Dhaka to Dakar adventure continues into the heart of Europe, and where it all happened in the Renaissance. Florence oozes the Renaissance and also, I was pretty blown away by it on arrival. Yes, I can see how it could be a bit much for the visitor – SO much to see, where do you start? And how do you deal with the throngs? But we are talking the city of Da Vinci and Galileo, to name but two, and on my first proper day there I visited museums dedicated to these two men who contributed so much to the world and whose names will never be forgotten! Enjoy!
